About Us

SPACETIME astronomy is a West Australian company dedicated to bringing science and astronomy based services to schools and communities across WA.

Our goal is to deliver these services in a way that is both fun and educational. The Cosmodome mobile planetarium is our central service and is complemented by our night sky and solar observatories. The Cosmodome delivers a range of educational films in an entertaining package and is suitable for both educational and public venues.

Astronomy services are also supplemented by our range of science based toys and astronomy merchandise, all designed to foster an and maintain an interest in science and astronomy.

All our staff have both West Australian police clearance and "Working With Children" accreditation. We also have the appropriate level of indemnity insurance to allow us to work in WA schools, shopping centres and other public venues.

Our astronomer has over 10 years amateur astronomy experience, formal astronomy qualifications from the Swinburne Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing in Melbourne and 8 years experience working with the WA Department of Education and Training.

Our intention is to offer our astronomy related services equally to both Metro and Country schools and we will do everything possible to achieve this goal.
